  Brief History from wikipedia:

 Kingman County was organized by J. F. Fical; J. W. Jordan; G. W. Lacey; H. L. Ball; J. Narmony; W. P. Brown;
 George Pitts; G. A. Whicher; and R. R. Wilson on February 27, 1874. Named for Judge Samuel B. Kingman of Topeka, it
 contains the cities of Cunningham, Norwich, Spivey, Penalosa, Kingman, Nashville and Zenda.

 The first church was Methodist, organized in October 1878. It originally met in a schoolhouse. The first county fair was held
 October 22-23, 1919. The first school district was organized in Kingman City, May 4, 1874. The first school building was
 constructed on the corner of D and Main streets.
