Obituary of HENRY F. BARTEL
Henry F. Bartel, 92, retired farmer, blacksmith and welder, died Feb. 15 at Hillsboro Community Medical Center Long Term Care Unit. 
Services were held Feb. 19 at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, with Bob Fenstermacher officiating. Burial was at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 24, 1907, to Gerhard H. and Eve Bartel in Hillsboro.
On Feb. 7, 1932, he was married to Annie Regier, who predeceased him.
Survivors include three sons, Monroe and wife Doris of Moorehead, Minn., Ken and wife Ann of Topeka, and Leland and wife Carol of Lenexa; a sister, Linda Dilts of Sedgwick; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial funds have been established for Mennonite Central Committee and the Et Cetera Shop.
