WAHKIAKUM MARRIAGES ANNOUNCED - DECEMBER 21, 1905

The following marriage announcements were made on page 2 of the Columbia River Sun, Cathlamet,
Wahkiakum County, Washington, December 21, 1905.

Mrs. Maudy Magney, age 34, was married to Mr. Everett Mason, age 36; and Miss Elsie Magney, age 18,
was married to Mr. Wm. Raymond Pellant, age 22, in a double wedding by Rev. C. W. Wells on Tuesday,
December 19, at the parsonage in Cathlamet.

On Tuesday, December 19, Joseph Wade Smith, age 27, and Miss Mabel Crippen, age 17, both of
Skamokawa, were issued a license to wed.

Miss Sara Girard, formerly of Cathlamet, eldest sister of county auditor Joseph Girard, was married to
Andrew Kees on Wednesday, December 20, at the home of the groom in Cape Horn, Washington, where they
will make their future home.

“On Christmas Eve William Painter of Astoria, …will be united in marriage to Miss Minnie Cathleen
Hutchins of McMinnville in that city at the residence of the bride’s parents.”
