Grays River Builder-Thursday, February 3, 1944 Grays River, Washington Deep River Man Dies at Home Werner Wuorinen, 69, well-known farmer of Deep River, Wash., died this morning at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Wuorinen was born February 28, 1874, in Finland and came to the U.S. when he was about 23 years of age. He located first in the east working in Pennsylvania and Minnesota where he followed the mining industry. He was married to Hilda Ahola in 1904, locating in Deep River where he has lived ever since. Surviving him besides his wife, Hilda, are two daughters, Mrs. Leonard Aho of Svenson and Mrs. Dorius Anderson of Astoria; three sons, Victor of Naselle, John and Einar of Deep River; and three grandson; a sister and a brother in Finland and two cousins, Mrs. Jonas Wuotila of Clatskanie, Ore., and Frank Koivisto of Aberdeen, Wash. Funeral services are held up until absent members of the family may be reached.
