Mary Estella "May" Bruns, 102, of Lodi died July 2 at home following a sudden illness. She was born in Missouri.
Mrs. Bruns had lived in Lodi for 50 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed "inner-drilling," designing and working with table tile, dolls, and many other intricate handiwork.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Bruns in 1965; and four sisters.
Mrs. Bruns is survived by her niece, Helen Hilton of Lodi; and her close friend, Marcy Freih of Lodi.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cherokee Memorial Park with Rev. G. G. Rauser officiating. There will be no visitation. Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
