Jabez Coe, Aged 75, Called to the Beyond

Well-Known Kingdon Resident Passed Away Sunday Evening, Following a Short Illness

Jabez Coe died Sunday evening at 7 o'clock at his late home near Kingdon after a brief illness. The deceased was a native of England, aged 75 years, but had lived in this section for the last eight years, coming here from the East, where he had resided for a number of years previous.

He leaves a wife, Mrs. Susan Coe, and eight children, Mrs. Robt. Burgess of Pennsylvania, Mrs. William McGowan of Pennsylvania, Mrs. R. P. Walfenden of Oakdale, Mrs. J. L. McCowen of Lodi, H. G. and W. Coe of Tennessee, F. J. Coe of Pennsylvania and Arthur J. Coe of Lodi.

Mr. Coe had twenty-two grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Hale & Bawden's. Interment in Lodi cemetery.
