Former Acampo Man Dead in New York

Local friends of Clarence F. Foster will be sorry to learn of his death which occurred in New York last week from acute appendicitis, according to a message received by his sister, Mrs. Neva Broughton of Stockton.

Mr. Foster was born near Acampo at the home of his grandmother, the late Mrs. H. E. Foster, where he grew to young manhood. Later he went east and up to the time he enlisted in the aviation corps, he was associated with a large contracting firm in New York, by whom he was held in the highest esteem for several years. Besides a widow and four-year-old daughter, he leaves a father, mother and sister to mourn his loss.
