John H. Galloway passed away Wednesday night at his home on South Sacramento street after a short illness. He was a native of Illinois, aged 63 years. He had resided here for the past 15 years, and had many friends throughout the community. He was the husband of Mrs. Anna A. Galloway and father of Mrs. Jeanette Sweeney.
The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Hale & Bawden chapel, the Lodi Masons officiating. Interment was made in Lodi cemetery.
