Academy Student Is Dead From Influenza

After a few days' illness of influenza-pneumonia, Miss Florence Griffeath, student at the Lodi Academy, passed away Sunday morning.

She was a native of Iowa, and aged 17 years, 11 months and 21 days. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Griffeath and sister of Mrs. Edna Rassmusson, Dale E., Glenn A., Donald I. and Matt R. Griffeath, all of Del Ray, Fresno county.

The remains were sent to Selma Sunday under the direction of Hale and Bawden.
