From the Lodi Sentinel, 24 Oct 1918:
Ben Kraemer, who some time ago conducted a stage line between Lodi and Stockton, passed away Tuesday evening at his home south of Lodi near Wyondott avenue. He was ill for a week, coming down with influenza, which soon developed into pneumonia.
He was a native of Wisconsin and was 26 years, six months and 17 days of age. The funeral, which will be private, will be held tomorrow from the chapel of Hale & Bawden. Interment will be made in Lodi cemetery.
