Fred W. Miner, 86, a native of Clements and widely known as a farmer in the Lockeford district, passed away Friday night after a lengthy illness at his home near Lathrop.
Mr. Miner is survived by his wife Mrs. Minnie Miner, two daughters and three sons. They are Mrs. George Haddock of Clements, and Mrs. Charles Seaich of Stockton, Luther W. Miner of Galt and Elbert and Milo Miner of Stockton. Two sisters, Mrs. Nell Flanders of Carmel and Mrs. Hattie Johns of Sacramento also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the chapel of the Martin Funeral Home, 445 N. American Street, Stockton. Burial will be in the family plot in Harmony Grove Cemetery.
