From the Lodi Sentinel, 9 Nov 1918:
Elwyn H. Paulson died at Courtland last night at 10 o'clock after a week's illness from influenza. Deceased was aged 27 years and leaves a wife, formerly Mary Wentland of Lodi, and a five-months-old daughter. The remains are at the chapel of Hale & Bawden. The funeral arrangements have not been made.
