From the Lodi Sentinel 29 Oct 1918:

Young Mother Is Influenza Victim

Mrs. Christine Reimche, who arrived here with her family from South Dakota a week ago, passed away Sunday afternoon at her home near Woodbridge. It is thought that influenza from which she died, was contracted on the train.

She was a native of South Dakota, aged 32 years, 3 months and 15 days. Besides her husband, she leaves four children. The remains are at the Hale & Bawden chapel. Announcement of the funeral will be made later.
