Ludwig Scheuffle died Monday morning at his home, 352 East Vine street, after an extended illness. He was born in Russia and was aged 71 years. He had been engaged in farming in the Lodi district for the past eight years. He was an active member of the German Adventist church and his death brings sorrow to a wide circle of friends.
Deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Scheuffle, and four children, Velma, Dave, Esther and William Scheuffle, all of Lodi.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock in the German Adventist church, with Rev. W. F. Huenergardt officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in Woodbridge cemetery under the direction of Lodi Funeral Home.

Final rites for Ludwig Scheuffle were held yesterday afternoon at [missing line] Rev. J. F. Huenergardt officiating. The services were attended by many friends of the deceased.
Interment was made in the family plot in Woodbridge cemetery under the direction of Lodi Funeral Home. The pallbearers were F. Teske, E. Scheideman, Jake Dollinger, Carl Schaefer, John Schlotthauer and George Voelker.
