Mrs. S. H. Williams, Pioneer Lodi Woman, Died At Berkeley

Suffering a gradual decline for the past two years, Francis Josephine, wife of S. H. Williams, Sr., passed away in Berkeley yesterday morning at an early hour.

She was a native of New York and aged 65 years, 3 months and 3 days. She had many friends in Lodi, where she resided up to within twelve years ago, when the family moved to Berkeley.

The deceased was the mother of Frank L., Ernest J., S. Hazel and Cecil A. Williams. The body was shipped to Lodi arriving at 8:30 last night and the funeral, which will be private, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the parlor of Hale & Bawden. Interment will be made in Lodi cemetery.
