George went to Iowa on an orphan train

1906. Dale, born in 1923 at Sidney,
Iowa, died January 15, 1941 at Brooklyn, New
York as a result of burns suffered in
a box factory fire. He was one of
several that survived the fire but died
later at a hospital. He is buried at
Evergreen
Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York (Pleasant
Hill Section).
