Obituary of ALICE FAYE BAIRD
Alice Faye Baird, 74, formerly of Sylvan Grove, died Sunday, September 30, 2001.
She was born October 3, 1926, at Sylvan Grove, the daughter of Charles and Ella Conrad Meitler

She was a homemaker and retired restaurant cook. Her husband, Harold G. Baird, preceded her in death in 1986.

Survivors include: three sons, Jerry Baird, Pratt, Larry A. Baird, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Mark T. Baird, Springfield, Illinois; a daughter, Tracy Legleiter, Hays; and brother, Pete Meitler, Plainville; three sisters, Velma Mendenhall, Zurich, Helen Posusta, Lucas, and Mary Gier, Lincoln.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 4, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Sylvan Grove.

Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery at Hunter.
Visitation is from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, October 3, and from 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Cancer Council of Ellis County, or Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
