John Thomas Barnes born: 19 Sept 1845 Richview, Ill.  Died 1 Jan 1940 at Ft. Dodge Kansas Old Soldiers Home Hospital.  My source is a news paper clipping  his obituary.  I have not been able to find any other information about him other than his co in the civil war Co. C 60th Inf. Ill. Volunteers.  He lived in Leoti, Kansas until 1929 when he moved to the Old Soldiers Home in Ft. Dodge.
