Loving of Memory Snodgrass Mrs. Doris Beulah was born January 29, 1908 near Anderson, Missouri to Sammuel Morris and Lula Ethel Christerson. She died April 19th, 1982 in Bucklin, Kansas at the age of 4 years. She was preceeded in death by her father, Sammuel, mother, Lulu, brothers, Willie, Orval, Arthur and Charles Christerson, and by a sister, Reeta Drake. Doris was married to Fred Eric Hendricks at Neosho, Missouri on July 25, 1925. To this union was born a son, Fred Hendricks, Jr. now living in Tracey, California and Betty Louise Kinslow of Bucklin, Kansas. In 1947, after her husband's death, she moved to Bucklin, Kansas to live near her daughter and family. In 1949 she married Harry Allen of Bucklin. After Harry's death, Doris was married to Tom Hobbs of Plains, Kansas. Tom moved to Bucklin and did veterinary work until his death in 1965. On November 20, 1970 Doris was married to Virgil Snodgrass who also preceeded her in death. Doris was a cook at Fort Crowder near Neosho, Missouri and in various years around around the Bucklin community after moving to Kansas. She hd been retired since 1970. She is survived by a son, Fred Jr., daughter, Betty, one sister, Ruth Ogg of Joplin, Missouri; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Interment was at Bucklin Cemetery with Minnis Mortuary in charge. Services were conducted by Reverend Dan Wittstruck. Pallbearers were Glenn Unruh, Oscar Heiland, Chester VanHuss, Norman Hanson, David Kinslow and Max Drake.
