Following Obit is out of the Bucklin Banner January 1964. Tom Hobbs Dies Suddenly Sunday Tom Hobbs, Bucklin area's "veterinarian" for many years, passed away suddenly Sunday, shortly after lunch. Tom had not been ill. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 30. James VanWormer, Christian Church minister, officiated. Mrs. Ramona Smith, soloist, sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "Old Rugged Cross". The organist was Mrs. Iris Stephenson. Casket bearers were Mr. David Kinslow, Mr Questin Hobbs, Mr Glen Hobbs, Mr. Hurley Smith, Jr., Mr. Jim Lindner, and Mr. Larry Ediger. Interment was in the Bucklin Cemetery, Bucklin, Kansas.
