Muriel Aliene Hoffman Obituary Bucklin Banner Thursday, March 1, 1990 Muriel Aliene Hoffman, age 63 died February 21, 1990 at the Spelman Memorial Hospital at Smithville, MO. Born in Kingsdown, KS to Martin William Hoffman and Inez Pugman Hoffman, she lived most of her life in Kansas City, MO. She was a Computer Reservationist for TWA in the Kansas City Office for 33 years retiring in December 1985. Muriel graduated from Emporia State College in 1944. She attended the Baker University, was a Home Economics teacher for Pawnee Rock, KS School. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Colony, and Daughters of the American Revolution, and a member of the Emporia United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Martine Hoffman, Jr. and her grandparents Martin and Sarah Hoffman. Muriel is survived by her mother Inez Hoffman, Topeka, KS; 1 brother Leslie Hoffman, Kansas City, KS; 1 sister M. Joyce Berman of Tonganoxie, KS; 4 nephews, 1 niece, and 1 great niece. The funeral was held February 24 and Graveside Services were held February 26 in Bucklin.
