Mrs. Joseph Pinkney Obituary From the Bucklin Banner, Thursday, 12 December 1963, page 1 Mrs. Joe Pinkney of Ford, Dies Mrs. Joe Pinkney, 72, longtime Ford resident, died Wednesday, 11 December, at the Bucklin hospital after a long illness. She was born near Biggsville, Illinois, 19 December 1890. She moved to the Ford community in 1921 and had lived there since. She taught school for two years before her marriage 18 September 1923, to Joe Pinkney. She was a member of the Ford Congregational Church. Survivors include the widower, a son Robert Joseph, Ford; daughters, Mrs. Betty Frances Patton, Tempe, Arizona; Mrs. Mary Wilderson, Denver, Colorado; Mrs. Dean Evans, Kansas City, Missouri; a siter, Mrs. E. Tippen of Wichita and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Ford Congregational Church, Saturday, at 2 p.m. with Reverend Ralph Peters officiating. Burial will be in the Ford Cemetery.
