TYPHOID FEVER FATAL
FIFTEEN-YEAR OLD FORD COUNTY GIRL
                     DIED HERE EARLY YESTERDAY
Typhoid fever of which she had been ill since October 12 caused the
death at a local hospital yesterday morning at 4 O'clock of Edith
Simmons, 15 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. S. Simmons of 12 miles north of Dodge City.  Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon and burial was in Maple Grove cemetery.  Miss Simmons was born on August 4, 1904 in Ford county.
