obituary of FORSTER, Thomas Sedgewick County, KS 1921 See Thomas Foster FOSTER, Thomas As appeared in The Wichita Beacon in October of 1921 THOMAS FOSTER FULFILLS THREAT AND TAKES LIFE Shoots Self While Wife Is Preparing His Breakfast Thomas G Foster, age 60, ended his life by shooting himself thru the heart early this morning at his home 420 Sythe Avenue, following a statement made yesterday to his wife and son, that he intended to kill himself. Early last summer Foster had attempted to end his life by taking a quantity of sleeping powder and a state of unconscieousness resulted which resisted the efforts of physicians for two days. In Ill Health Foster was suffering from ill health resulting from an injury received a year or so ago and several times talked of ending his life, according to information given Coroner D.G. Heckman and Dr. F.J. Walker this morning by the family and neighbors.
