The Wichita Eagle, July 14, 1945.
"Dies Friday at 79.    Mrs.  Wilda Estella Grotz, 79, of 320 West Third,
died in a local hospital Friday.   She had been a resident of Wichita
for 30 years.   She was born in Johnston Co., Iowa.  Surviving is a son,
Marion  Hitchcock, 400 North ST. Francis.   Funeral services will be
held at Gill mortuary today at 2 p.m.    Rev.  Wayne E. Mccoy will
officate.   Burial will be in Old Mission cemetery."   

Additional Comments:
She was born Wilda Estella Kerr. She married Albert C. Hitchcock on Sept 3, 
1891 in Davenport Iowa. She divorced Albert at a later date. She married M. 
Grotz on Aug 16, 1924.
