Dolores Ann Matz

D/O George and Pearl Martinson. She graduated from Fargo High School in 1944 and
North Dakota State University in 1948. She married Marvin M. Matz on August 25,
1949. They moved to Wichita, KS in 1952, where Marvin worked for Boeing and she
taught junior high History and English. Mrs. Matz was a volunteer for 52 years
at the Institute of Logopedics and later Heartspring. She also served as a board
member on the Women's Council of Heartspring. She was a member of Kappa Alpha
Theta and held various positions on both the local and national levels. She was
a docent at the Wichita Historical Museum, was active in AAUW and was an active
member throughout her life at Eastminster Presbyterian Church.
