Fulton Sun Gazette, Aug. 8, 1982, Fulton, Callaway, Missouri Miss Warrene Clatterbuck the daughter of the late Boyd and Ella Humphreys Clatterbuck, died Monday evening, Aug 9, 1982, at Callaway Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness. Miss Clatterbuck was born, June 7, 1904 near Carrington, MO and lived her entire life in Callaway County. She is survived by one brother, Marvin B. Clatterbuck of San Jose, California; two sisters in law, Mrs. Marilyn Clatterbuck of San Jose, and Mrs.Paul Clatterbuck of Kansas City, Kansas, four neohews and one niece, as well as several great nephews, nieces and cousin. A brother, Paul H. Clatterbuck, Sr. preceded her in death. Following the death of her parents, she came to Fulton and made her home with her uncle, S.R. Humphreys and Family. She continued to live with her cousins, Miss Mossie Humphreys and the late Mrs. Claude Dudley. She was a graduate of New Bloomfield High School, Williams Woods College, and Central Missouri University -Warrensburg. She taught a fifth grae class in the Fulton Public Schools for 47 years. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Fulton, Callaway county historical society, Delta Kappa Gamma and the retired teachers of Callaway County. Her funeral will be held at the First Baptist CHurch at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow in Callaway Memorial Garden. The family requests memorials go to the First Bapist Church building fund or the Callaway County historical Society. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Miss Clatterbuck was born June 7, 1904, near Carrington, MO, and lived her entire life in Callaway County. She died Monday evening at Callaway Memorial Hospital.
