Columbia Daily Tribune, December 27, 2000, Columbia, Missouri Otis Woodrow Harrison, 81, of Columbia died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, at Boone Hospital Center. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29, at Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. John Foley officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Harrison was born March 10, 1919, in Auxvasse to William Ewing Harrison and Ila May Miller Harrison. He married Melba Elizabeth Craghead on July 6, 1940, in St. Charles, and she survives. He served in the Army during World War II from 1943-46. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and VFW Post No. 280. Survivors also include a son, James Otis Harrison of Columbia; a brother, Albert Harrison of Lee's Summit; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
