Kingdom Daily News, April 1980, Kingdom City, Callaway, Missouri Mrs. Juanita Prawl, 76, died Tuesday April 22 at Callaway Memorial Hospital. She was born at Guthrie, Sept. 11, 1903, the daughter of Ida Evelyn Gibbs and William Holly Wilkerson. She attended New Bloomfield High School. she later moved to St. Louis and was a graduate of Brown Business College, St. Louis. She was married to Timus Gradinaroff, a cashier in the Granite City National Bank, Granite City, Ill. who preceded her in death. She married Earl Prawl on Oct. 2, 1948. He preceeded her in death August 26, 1973. Mrs. Prawl was also preceded in death by one brother, Gibbs Wilkerson and four sisters, Mrs. Roy (Pauline) Moore, Mrs. Sheley (Brooksie) Reynolds, Mrs. Ott Bigler, and Mrs. Harry (Lucille) Trammell. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. David Clay of Kansas City, Kan. and Mrs. Irvin C. (Kathryn) Holt of New Bloomfield and several neices and nephews. Mrs. Prawl was secretary to the Director of Sales for Skelly Oil of St. Louis for over twenty years. On retirement, she and her husband built a home on the Carrington blacktop. She later moved to Golden Village, New Bloomfield. She was a member of Dry Fork Baptist Church and was a member of the W.M.U. of the church. She was also a member of the Retired Employees Association of Skelly Oil Company of St. Louis. Visitation will be held until noon today at the Browning-Debo Funeral Home, when Mrs. Prawl will be taken to the Dry Fork Baptist Church to lie in state until 2:30 p.m. the time of services. The Rev. Jerry Anderson will conduct services. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
