Abel Arrington born 1787 in North Carolina was a methodist minister and lived some time with
his wife Margaret in Greene County. Three of their sons became methodist ministers.
Their son Amos Arrington born 1826 Rhea county Tennessee and died Feb 24, 1844 Greene
county Missouri and was buried on the family farm.

In 1847 Abel sold his property to Bennett Garrett per the Greene county Deed book G page 560
It states
the East half of the North East quarter of Section No Four Township No thirty of Range No
Twenty Two West, (NB 10 feet square is reserved where the grave of Amos F. Arrington is)
containing twenty nine acres more or less.
I was able to locate the property on the 1875 platmap showing Bennett Garrett's property
therefore Amos' grave is most likely near where the home was located in 1844.
