A.R. McQueen REV MCQUEEN DIES SUDDENLY Former Paris Church Pastor Succumbs at Canton Paris, Mo., Oct 29 – Word has been received here of the death of Rev. A.R. McQueen, formerly pastor of the Paris Christian church, and until two months ago a resident of Paris. He had been in ill health for several years, being forced to resign his pastorate here for that reason. He died suddenly while attending a student meeting at Canton Saturday evening. Mrs. McQueen is matron of a Culver-Stockton College dormitory. Rev. McQueen had attended a football game Saturday afternoon, seeming in his usual health. Surviving are his wife, one son, Bob, and a daughter, Mrs. Ardyth Miers and one grandson. Rev and Mrs. McQueen have many friends here and in Monroe county, where Mrs. McQueen, who served as relief chairman of the county for the past two years, was widely known.
