Mrs. Tom (Burnes) Near Tulip Dies

Mrs. Tom (Burnes), 77, died Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sol 
Woodring, near Tulip.  Mrs. Barnes' husband died about a year ago.  Besides her 
daughter, Mrs. Woodring, a son, Turner Barnes, Moberly, also four other sons, Hillard 
near Centralia, and Lyle, Paul and Hub, all of near Tulip survive her.  Funeral services 
were conducted at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Tulip Christian Church by the 
Rev. Egan Herndon of Centralia.  Burial in the Centralia cemetery.


Mrs. Tom Barnes Dies Near Tulip

Madison, Mar. 13 - Monitor-Index Special Services - Mrs. Tom Barnes, 77, mother of 
Turner Barnes of Moberly, died about 1:30 o'clock this morning at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Sol Woodring, near Tulip.  Mrs. Barnes' husband died about a year ago.  
Besides her daughter, Mrs. Woodring, the (one) here, Mrs. Barnes also is survived by 
four other sons, Millard, near Centralia, and Lyle, Paul and Hub, all of near Tulip.  
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Tulip 
Christian Church by the Rev. Egan Herndon of Centralia.  Burial will be in the Centralia 
cemetery.
