Partial Obituary of Mrs. Virginia Blakey "Mrs.Virginia C. Blakey, 68 yeards old, died at her home in Paris Saturday morning at four o'clock after a long invalidism. Mrs. Blakey had been a semi-invalid for several years and since breaking a hip more than a year ago had been unable to move from her bed. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.B. Weldon at the home Monday afternoon, with burial in Walnut Grove cemetery. Mrs. Blakey was the daughter of James A. and Essie Curtright and had lived her entire life here, where she was active in church and community affairs. For years she was among the leaders of the Christian Church and its choir. Her husband, H.T. Blakey, Paris groceryman, died several years ago. Mrs. Blakey is survived by one daughter,Mrs. Dorothy Williams of Larchmont, N.Y. , and two sisters, (Mrs. J. Fletcher Farrel of) (rest of article missing)."
