Charles A. Sharp of Northwood, Iowa, died Thursday afternoon at Mercy Hospital in Mason City, Iowa. He had been seriously ill for seven months. Born and raised near Santa Fe, he was a representative of the Bankers Life Insurance Co. for the last 34 years.
Surviving are his wife, the former Martha Bittick of Perry; three daughters, Mrs. John Martin of Mason City, Mrs. George Nelson and Mrs. Truman Hangesteg of Northwood; 8 grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Ira Smith and Mrs. Will Grow of Paris.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Northwood, with burial in Sunset Rest Cemetery there.
