Cain Dooley, 91, Died

Cain Dooley, almost 91 years old (would have been November 11), died at 
home in Stoutsville, Tuesday from cancer.  Funeral was conducted at 
Stoutsville, Thursday a.m. by Rev. Woodruff and burial was at 
Stoutsville.  Mr. Dooley was among the pioneer residents of the 
community and spent most of his life on a farm north of town, moving to 
Stoutsville only recently.  Mr. and Mrs. Dooley had been married 68 
years last March.  Surviving are: wife, sons Frank, Watt, Everett, 
daughters Dora Kirkland, Mrs. Elliott Williams, Nellie Bunce, Gertrude 
Bowen and brothers, Willi, Bud, and Kit and sister Lucy Tully. (Source:
