Death of Another Aged Citizen


Joseph Elsbury, aged 64 years died at his home south of Madison Monday evening. He had been ill for several years and while his death was not unexpected it will be learned with deep regret by his many friends. The wife and five sons, Ed, Will, John, Tom and Arthur Elsbury, one daughter, Mrs. Gid Sheridan, are surviving relatives. Burial will be made in the Madison Cemetery Wednesday afternoon with funeral services conducted by Rev. J.T. Mitchell.

Submitter's Note: Joseph Ninty Elsberry was born on December 12, 1854 in Monroe County, Missouri. He died on January 21, 1919. He was the son of Jesse Elsberry and Mary Thomas.
