Mrs. Mary F. Elsberry is dead. Mrs. Mary Elsberry died at 2:30 Saturday afternoon four miles east of Middle Grove after an illness of eight weeks. Age 62 years. She leaves a husband, John Elsberry, one daughter, Mrs. Arthur Elsberry, of Moberly: two sons, R.L. Hogan of Sedalia and Russell Elsberry of Moberly, three brothers, Clay Worledge of Moberly, Marion Worledge of Denver and Harry Worledge of Sedalia, also two sisters, Laura Simpson of near Middle Grove and Mrs. Nannie Delph of Sedalia. She was a member of the Christian church at Tulip, Mo. Funeral services were held at the home. Burial: Oakland Cemetery, Moberly. From unidentified source, submitted by Mike Wehmeyer. Submitter's Note: Mary Elsberry was born in Garrard County, Kentucky on March 15, 1867. She was the daughter of Robert Worledge and Margaret E. Wilcoxen. She died on June 25, 1927. She was first married to John W. Hogan on October 31, 1889 in Monroe County, Missouri. After John died she married John Elsberry. They were married in 1905.
