Mrs. Amelia (Helm) Forbes

 
"Mrs. Amelia Forbes died at the residence of her husband, on the 21st, of 
consumption.  Mrs. Forbes had been confined to her bed since last September."
 
Note: Mrs. Amelia Forbes was Permelia Ann Helm, daughter of Joseph Wilcox Helm 
and Nancy Washington Mallory.  She was born on September 24, 1852 and married 
James Robert Forbis (Forbes) on March 7, 1877.  She was approximately 30 years 
old at the time of her death.  Two sons, Oliver L. and Edward Clarence Forbis, 
also survived.
