FRANCES LEPPER Mrs. Frances E. Lepper, 75, 433 Chandler, died at 8:15 p.m., Sunday in Woodland Hospital, where she had been a patient for the last five weeks. Born in Monroe County, April 30, 1899, she was the daughter of James T. and Jennie Briscoe Stephens. She lived most of her life south of Madison and the last three years in Moberly. She was a member of the Madison Baptist Church. Survivors are: the husband, Claude Lepper; two step-daughters, Mrs. Charles McKinny, San Diego; and Mrs. William Orr, Wentzville; one stepson, Claude Lepper Jr., Poway, Calif,; one brother, Briscoe Stephens, Hannibal; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Nina Stephens, Paris; two nieces and three nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and her parents. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, with the Rev. Jimmy Jones of Sturgeon officiating in the Cater Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery, Holliday. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., today in the Cater Funeral Home.
