Maurine Gibbs

Ruth Maurine Gibbs, 92, of Paris.  Died Friday December 10, 1993.  Born 
March 26, 1901 in Stoutsville, Mo to Matt and Lucy DeOlive Dooley 
Tully.  She graduated from Stoutsville High School and was bookkeeper 
for Sears in Kansas City, MO and Seattle, WA.  She also lived in 
Houston, TX before coming back to Paris, MO and was a member of St 
Francis Cabrini Catholic Church in Paris.  She married Sidney L. Gibbs 
in 1931 in Monroe County, MO.  He died February 11, 1967.  Survivors: 
nieces Myrtle Lee Carman, Jilda Long, nephews J.P. Carman, Tully 
Tonsor, and Pat Tonsor.  Mass at Holy Rosary Church December 13th and 
burial in St. Andrews Cemetery in Stoutsville. (Source: Unknown Mo
