JAMES KEITH DIES, AGED 79
Illness Fatal to Monroe County Farmer – Funeral Today

Shelbina, Mo., Oct 28 – James Keith died about 7 o’clock Sunday morning in the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hulse, Clay township, Monroe county, following a week’s illness.  He passed his 79th birthday August 23.

Mr. Keith was born in Union county, Ill., a son of Abner and Jane Abernathy Keith.  Most of his life was spent as a farmer in northern Monroe county.  Surviving are his wife and daughter, Mrs. Hulse.

The funeral was held this afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Spencer Chapel Methodist church, about 7 miles south of Shelbina, the Rev. W.E. Eisenberg of Shelbina, conducting the rites.  Burial was in the cemetery there.
