Claude Lepper Claude Lepper, 91, of 433 Chandler, was discovered dead at his home a 4:40 p.m. Saturday. Coroner Fred Ward ruled death was by natural causes. Mr. Lepper was found in his bed, and last been seen by a neighbor at 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Officers said he had had a heart attack. Born in Monroe County on Nov. 1, 1890, he was the son of John and Mary Stephens Lepper. He was a retired farmer from east of Moberly, and had lived at Moberly for the past 10 years. Mr. Lepper was a member of the Middle Grove Christian Church. Survivors include a son, Claude Edward Lepper, Poway, Calif.; two daughters, Flossie McKinney, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Mrs. William (Dorothy) Orr, Wentzville; brother, Charles Lee Lepper, Moberly; 11 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday by Rev. C. W. Cornn at the Cater Chapel, with burial at Sunset Hill Cemetery at Madison. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. at the Cater Funeral Home today.
