Lucy Cissell Wetmore

Mrs. E.T. Wetmore died at her home in Paris Monday morning after a long illness. The funeral service was held at the Christian Church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. It was conducted by Elder F.W. Allen. Mrs. Wetmore was 76 years old, a native of Lexington, Kentucky, and a valued member of the Christian Church. She had been the wife of E.T Wetmore for 58 years and during all this time had lived in Paris. Her benefactions were many. Her heart was large, her hand was liberal, and her life was rich in worthy deeds. And now that she is gone the community in which she lived so long and so well, mingles its tears with those of her husband, son and relatives to whom she was so tenderly dedicated.
