Mary E. Norman MRS. MARY NORMAN Mrs. Mary E. Norman, widow of Dr. John N. Norman who died several years ago passed away at her home in this city Monday evening, August 6, 1937, at 8 o'clock. She was born November 13, 1857 and was 69 years of age. She was the daughter of J.L. and Emma Nolen who with them spent her childhood days on a farm near Monroe. August 1876 she was married to Dr. John N. Norman who died five years later. To this union one son was born, Harry Norman, of St. Louis. Besides the son Mrs. Norman leaves four brothers, Ambrose and Melvin Nolen of this city, Oliver, Nolen of Kansas and John Nolen of Jefferson City. The funeral took place at the Grace Baptist church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. W.H. Johnson.
