Bertie Eliza (Rouse) Norman   Mrs. Bertie Norman Dies Mrs. Bertiann Eliza Rouse Norman, a resident for many years of Florida, until she moved to Perry three years ago, died at St. Elizabeth hospital in Hannibal Thursday afternoon, November 13, at 4:15. She was the widow of Lee Norman who died in 1928. She is survived by two sons, George of Perry, and Robert of Paris, two daughters, Mrs. Montee Martin of Oklahoma and Mrs. Irene Landis of Benton City, eight grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Slaughter and Mrs. Fannie Utterback, and two brothers Denver and Albert Rouse, all of Perry and community. Funeral services were at the Wilkey funeral home in Perry Saturday afternoon with the Rev. John Golden in charge. Pallbearers were Jim Turner, Fred Drake, Bill Landis, Bruce Carpenter, Ben Blair and Lyle Popkes. Music was furnished by Mrs. Duard Henderson, Mrs. Lornie Janes and Mrs. Jim Turner. Burial was in Pleasant Hill cemetery. Several from Florida attended.
