Pearl Louise Bryan Mrs. Bryan Dies of Rare Malady Due to Hemorrhage of Cerebellum The death of Mrs. Charles D. Bryan, 46, of 1428 Maple St., Des Moines, IA, was due to a rare ailment, hemorrhage of the cerebellum, Coroner A. E. Shaw announced after an autopsy Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Bryan, who assisted her husband in operating the A.B.C. Coal Co., died at home at 3 a.m. Thursday. Coroner Shaw said that Mrs. Bryan assisted Mr. Bryan in taking care of records at the coal office until 8 p.m. when she complained of feeling ill and was taken home. The coroner pointed out that cerebral hemorrhages are not uncommon but that is was unusual for a hemorrhage to occur in the cerebellum. Rites Sunday - Funeral services for Mrs. Bryan will be held at 9 a.m. Sunday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, Des Moines and will be in charge of Rev. H. H. Pearl Louise Carnes Bryan was born 14 Apr 1891 and died. 26 Jan 1938. She is buried at Walnut Grove cemetery, Paris, MO. Her parents, who are also buried at Walnut Grove, were Emanuel Sylvester (born 4 Oct 1861, died 13 Jan 1919) and Sarah Jane Kent Carnes (born 24 Mar 1868, died 30 Apr 1950). Submitted by Kat Bryan.
