Henry Thomas Scobee H. T. Scobee H. T. (Tom) Scobee, who spent most of his life farming east of Paris, died late Sunday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Duard Henderson, Florida, where he had been living several years. Until two weeks ago Mr. Scobee had been able to be up and around and had been in Paris at that time. Surviving him are one son, R. T. Scobee of Columbia formerly of Paris, and one daughter, Mrs. Duard Henderson of Florida. One brother, Andersonville Scobee of Ft. Dodge, Iowa, also survives and is the last of the immediate family. Mr. Scobee was 83 years old. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Pleasant Grove Church by Rev. John Golden, with burial in the nearby Scobee cemetery.   H. Thomas Scobee H. Thomas Scobee died Sunday night, February 8, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. D. D. Henderson, at Florida. His age was 83 years. He had made his home with the Hendersons for more than ten years but had been ill only two weeks, suffering an attack of influenza followed by complications. He is a former superintendent of schools at Paris and Jefferson. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. John W. Golden of Hannibal Tuesday afternoon from Pleasant Grove Church east of Paris and burial was in the Scobee family cemetery. Surviving with Mrs. Henderson is a son, Russell Scobee, of Columbia, also a brother Anderville Scobee, of Fort Dodge, Ia. Scobee of Columbia had been visiting his father, the late Tom Scobee, at Florida Sunday and had started back to his home, thinking that his father was not in a critical condition. A few miles out however, he had a premonition that all was not as it should be and that he should have remained with his father.
