Parial obituary of Mr. Turner "... then complained that his head ached. Two minutes later he was dead. Dr. Turner of Madison, called to the home, pronounced death due to the lightning, or to the effects of the bolt. At Madison, telephone operators said the electrical storm was the worst they had seen in years. Both main lines to Moberly were burned out, and many telephones in the vicinity were put out of commission. Mr. Turner was 55 years old. Funeral services were held at the grave at the Holliday (unknown) on Monday at 2:30, conducted by Marcus J. Heathman of Paris. He is survived by his wife and two foster children WIlliam Woodward of Kansas City, and Henry WOodward, now in Europe in the army. Upon the death of Mrs. Wm. Woodward in January, the Turners took the Woodward baby to raise. It was this baby he held at the time of the accident."
