Melissa Alice Willingham Alice Willingham, 85, Madison, passed away Saturday evening, April 16, at Columbia Regional Hospital in Columbia. Mrs. Willingham was born January 26, 1920 in Blakesburg, Iowa to Alva L. and Coma F. (Ross) Dunwoody. She married Lenard Willingham on June 23, 1938 in Madison. He preceded her in death on July 26, 1989. Survivors include one son, Tony Willingham and wife, Rita, one daughter, marlin Willingham and a daughter-in-law, Helen Willingham, wife of her late son, Lester; five grandchildren Keven Willingham and wife Wendy; Eric Willingham and wife Lana; Shawn Willingham, Brandi Chick and husband Brian; and Jason Willingham and wife Melissa; six great-grandchildren, Troy, Aaron and Clay Willingham, Austin Willingham, and Brandon and Benjamin Chick; three brothers, Ray, Fred and Rex Dunwoody; four sister, Fern Kowder, Leta Wilson, and Bonnie and Dollie Dunwoody; and other relatives including numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Lester; two brothers, Ross and Grover; and two sisters, Reva and Melia. Alice was a member of the Middle Grove Christian Church.
