Mrs. Alfred Ware Obituary 24 Feb 1922 p. 1, c. 2 Aged Mother of W. J. Ware passes away Mrs. Alfred Ware Came to Port Angeles to Live in Year 1887 Mrs. Alfred Ware, a pioneer of Port Angeles, and mother of William J. Ware, of this city, passed away yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alice Withrow, Seattle, and funeral services will be held from the Home Undertaking Parlors in that city at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Deceased was born in England 75 years ago and moved to the United States to make her home. From Tacoma she and Mr. Ware moved to Port Angeles, Mr. Ware taking duty as a civil engineer for the Co-operative Colony. They lived here until 1910, moving to Cashmere, Washington. Mr. Ware died about a year ago. Deceased left six children to mourn her loss, W. J. Ware, Port Angeles, Mrs. A. N. Taylor , Dungeness, Mrs. J. A. Withrow, Seattle, Mrs. O. C.
